Plugin of the month

I don't know if I will make this a monthly thing or not but for now, let's call this plugin of the month.

This month(?) I'm going to pick my favourite plugin of all time... Edge!

EDGE is a subharmonic synth, which in lay man's speak means that if you feed it audio the resulting output will be your audio plus extra low bass.

Unlike most bass enhancers, it doesn't just boost the bass or shape the lower frequencies. What it does is takes the input signal and creates a bass signal one (or even two) octaves lower than the original.

Because not every signal is a simple sine wave, there is input filtering which effectively gives the plugin a more simple waveform to process. It's free, so why not give it a go?

Oh look, a website update

Yay. A new Code Audio website:

If you look around carefully you will find a couple of easter eggs too.

It's built using Google Page Creator. I've been threatening for quite some time to build a "proper website" using Google Pages and I'm actually quite pleased with the result. To be honest, with as many pages as the site has it would have been quicker to do it properly with proper includes for static stuff and my own CSS but what the hey, it was an experiment and it turned out OK.

The whole site is now supported by Google Ads and donations. Alright, so I'll never be rich but at least it makes those hosting bills a bit easier to swallow.

From now on it's freeware only from Code Audio unless a product comes into my hands that is awesome beyond belief and makes me change my mind.

U-Turn time

After many many requests, I have put a PayPal donate button under the links on the right hand side there.

Wow, what a success!

Thank you all for showing interest so far. Especially, thank you to Ben and all at KVR for making BeatBurner a massive success.

Within a couple of days we're almost pushing 20,000 downloads... Far more than I had ever anticipated.

Unfortunately all that success comes at a cost so can I please ask you to pay attention to the Google ads? They are relevant, so you're unlikely to be clicking into unfamiliar territory. I'm not going to start begging for Paypal donations (yet), that's really not the point at all but I would like to recoup some of the costs if at all possible.
